Renovating in Paradise Point

Built for Paradise Point homes.

Paradise Point is on the northern Broadwater, with the esplanade parklands and village shops along the water and the Sovereign Islands just across the channel. The suburb mixes Broadwater frontage, canal homes with their own pontoons, and quieter streets of family homes set back from the water.

Much of the housing dates from the 70s to the 90s, and a lot of it is now being renovated rather than rebuilt. It's a family suburb with a boating lifestyle, so the briefs are about everyday living as much as entertaining: a kitchen that works hard, a bar for weekends, and a proper outdoor kitchen for the water.

The renovation that suits these homes

The kitchens we do here are usually the centre of a bigger renovation - an island the family gathers around, a drinks bar off the living room, and joinery that carries through to the robes, bathrooms and laundry. Custom work keeps the whole house in one design language, and lets us fit the joinery to homes that were never built square.

What we plan for

Broadwater and canal frontage means salt air and strong northern light, so the material call matters - we steer toward stone and finishes that hold up. Most jobs here are renovations of established homes, so we plan the trades and the install to keep the disruption short.

How a Paradise Point kitchen renovation runs

One team, start to finish.

  1. 01

    Design & scope

Measure, concept, 3D renders and selections - the full scope and budget resolved before anything is built.

  2. 02

    Trades lined up

Our licensed building team plans the demolition, plumbing and electrical, so you're not chasing separate trades.

  3. 03

    Made locally

Your cabinetry is built in our own workshop while the site work happens, so the install isn't waiting on a supplier.

  4. 04

    Install & handover

Installed by our team, stone and appliances fitted, then handed over and backed by our warranty.

Endorsements

“The first thing that comes to mind is 'total transformation'. Having a builder that has an internal design team is fantastic. If I was to do anything else on the coast, 4D would be the team I would ring and I'd be more than comfortable to recommend them to anyone.”

Paradise Point kitchen renovation FAQs

Good to know.

Do you work in Paradise Point and the northern Gold Coast? +

Yes. Paradise Point is an easy run from our Southport workshop, and we've completed kitchens and joinery here, from family kitchens to home bars.

Can you build a home bar as part of our kitchen renovation? +

Yes - it's a popular addition here. A bar off the kitchen or living area, with a wine fridge and display joinery, is easy to design in alongside the kitchen.

Do you build outdoor kitchens for canal and Broadwater homes? +

Yes. We design alfresco kitchens with materials chosen for salt air and weather, and match them to the indoor kitchen so the two read as one.

How much does a kitchen renovation cost in Paradise Point? +

It depends on the size of the kitchen, the materials and how much else is in scope. The design package sets a realistic budget before any build commitment.
