Broadbeach is the beachside half of the suburb - east of the canals, between Kurrawa beach, the dining strip and Pacific Fair. It's mostly apartments now, from the newer towers on the beachfront to older boutique blocks, with a band of houses, duplexes and townhouses along the streets off Old Burleigh Road.
It's a lifestyle buy. People live here to walk to the beach and to dinner, and a lot of them entertain at home too. The older apartments and beach houses have the location sorted. What they're missing is a kitchen that suits how people live now: open, generous and built for having people over.
